I couldn't find my CD with Fleetwood Mac and Boyd doing 'Big Boat'. Well, I almost lost my mind because I couldn't find it online to buy any place. Then it turned up one day. So, that is my story of lost love and the blues.

way back in the 60s a friend of mine had an eddy boyd album. thought i'd check out utube to see if he was on here live anywehre, and found this gem. this tune has become a blues standard. and i also am embarassed i didn't realize it was buddy guy till i actually saw him.

it's the great buddy guy. indeed a major influence on Eric Clapton (not to mention hendrix, peter green and all the lot)

The great Eddie Boyd was one of the finest pianists playing blues;nevertheless, there was never a better composer in the field. Vocalist extraordinarie as well--he is still missed and loved.
