Whops.. I just noticed that you also said something about a CD. Here's the correct answer: Data can be backed up on Memory Stick, SD Memory Card, CompactFlash and USB mass storage devices. Disc media such as CD-R cannot be used.

Yes, you can. If you have big enough flash drive or any other removable storage devicer. I think 20gigs is the minimum.

I'd suggest you to download it but take a backup of your stuff to external HD before installing and if you wanna remove linux then just reformat your harddrive and then restore the backups you just made. that way everything is gonna be like it was

yeah,lol. I meant is it worth all the hassle installing it but apparently it is xD Writing this from ydl. btw, got the VRAM enabled now wih kernel 2.6.26.2. and i do all my 3d rendering with Blender on my PS3 also. If you happen to own a ps3 i'd suggest you to install YDL on it, dude!
