This is a dumb question but can someone explain Hello Kitty to me? I know it's a show but I never seen it on TV. All I see is products EVERYWHERE! Even my 5yrs niece has some. This is my first time watching the show. On wikipedia it says the show is from over 10 years ago. So does it still show on U.S. TV? Or do people just like the cute character and books?

Hehe, ok first hello kitty is just a show. i dont know why it became sooooo god dang sceneish, its at hot topic and it suddenly became a style. hello kitty is cute but people just say "omg im the hello kitty queen" wtf? the show is cute but people are going overboard
