The Great White version is definitely great. I was just listening to it the other day. Great White were always a great band, but I think in this case, credit really goes to old Mott. There's just a timelessness to their songs. Anyone catch "All the Way From Memphis" being used throughout last week's "Life on Mars"?

I loved this song in 1975 when I was 18 and still love it!
The R&R riffs are great, but ot has to have the best R&R lyrics of all time.
Great White's version is good but not a patch on the original.

This song rocks!
Ian Hunter is both an incredible songwriter and fantastic performer. I've seen him live half a dozen times over the years and it's always a great show.
I think the Great White version is great too, but this is the original!
