I am appalled that irregardless is used as a legitimate word at the end of this video. The only thing "irregardless" means is the lack of disregard. The etymology is dumb people that meant to say regardless.

i think that we have to stop putting cultures down and start looking at the similarities in culture and also i think that kids need to really learn about cultures. but how can they when a teacher drones on. it doesnt keep them interested. I think we are of the same mind on the subject. im not very knowlefgeable about japanese history i just understand the stuff i've read and watched on the television and talking to others about it. i appreciate the comment. thank you.

yeah, that sounds about right, brotherdevil. I've read some about it in the Dave Lowrey book Autumn Lightning.
and yes, it truly is different to think about how the culture believed in patriotism. there should be people out there investigating more cultures rather than berating them upon first glance because what does that say about our culture? (not saying you did, but I see some people here don't understand japanese histroy so well) Thanks for your comment, brotherdevil.
