it's illegal for the website to leave those folders accessible to us. it is not illegal for us to access them. we shouldn't be able to access them. the website is the one that would get in trouble, not us.

it's not illegal for us to download it through this loop hole. it is illegal for that website to have left their indexing folders unprotected. this is a loop hole that a friend of mine found a while ago and looked into. all web sites keep the folders on their servers and you must protect them from the public. but if they don't then they are letting the public take free copies of someone elses song or video or if it's their own then it's ok.
