alrighty... a google search revealed that the max size for a single file is 10 minutes long. kind of LAME! perhaps I will use my camera to upload a critique. in the meantime I'm lookin' for a flip (pure digital) camcorder

QUESTION- if someone could answer i'd really appreciate it!! :
does this camera have the ability to take continuous video footage for more than 10 minutes if I have a 1GB memory stick in there? I think I must have it on some youtube function because I've tried to record speeches longer than 10 minutes and I have to take them in 10 minute snippets which seems weird to me.
any answer for me from someone who has this camera?

hey assaied66, if i were u, i would take a tour to trustedreviews, selecting digital cameras, and Casio on the side and u see Z1080 is on the top list of scoring by points on all the cameras feature. Casio Z1080 has 9/10 image quality, S880 has like 6/10 or something.

What is the best 1080P camera? I can only find Canon HF100 for very good price.

We have a Panasonic Lumix camera that looks like that Casio you're holding. It's a few years old and works great. I've had trouble setting the white level right (auto looks a little yellow), but I'm probably doing it wrong. I like my brother's Canon more because it just seems a bit faster, especially in the speed it takes pictures, which is an important feature in my opinion. Otherwise I've had good exp. with LUMIX.
