I agree all across what you wrote. The same anti-knowledge phenomena exists here in Sweden as well, you are not alone. This plagues me every schoolday as my ambitions exceeds many elses. No wonder why Swedens situation is as it is today. There is loads of people only aiming at the sky, and want to be something, but it feels like there are not many of them today due to the changed attitude to school -I will go my way and the lazy kids can go their own, but let´s see who did right in the end!
