An explosive new chapter in the Super Hero franchise that's captivated the world for more than 40 years will be released nationwide on Friday, June 13th. Universal Pictures and Marvel Studios bring the action-packed epic motion picture of one of the most captivating heroes of all time to a world that's been anxiously awaiting it— The Incredible Hulk. For decades, the brute strength and touching vulnerability of this character have captured the imagination in all of us who are unsure of how to manage the passions that lie buried within. While we try to keep our tensions in check, there is a creature that embraces the pure rage and limitless aggression—living inside one brilliant man who finds his alter ego more and more impossible to suppress. And you wouldn't like him when he's angry. We find scientist Bruce Banner (two-time Oscar® nominee Edward Norton, American History X, Primal Fear) desperately hunting for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk. Banner has been living in the shadows—cut off from a life and the woman he loves, Dr. Elizabeth "Betty" Ross (Liv Tyler, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Strangers). Living as a fugitive to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (Oscar® winner William Hurt, Into the Wild, A History of Violence), he knows that a military machine seeking to capture him and brutally exploit his power is always only a few steps behind. As all three grapple with the secrets that led to The Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a vicious new adversary known as The Abomination, a monstrosity whose destructive strength exceeds even The Hulk's own. Portraying the human incarnation of this powerful creature is noted Academy Award® nominee Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs). As Emil Blonsky, Roth imagines a Super Soldier whose lust for power manifests itself in The Abomination. And to defeat this nemesis, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside—The Incredible Hulk. http://www.blacktree.tv

Holy crap! There's a T.V series? Like, besides the cartoons and stuff? Is it like, new?

'Civil War' involves all of the Marvel characters. The Avengers is a group of only a few superheroes--including a couple of lesser knowns. Iron Man and Captain America are the faces of the Avengers. The Hulk and Thor are also major characters. Ant Man and The Wasp (I think that's right...) are the lesser known members. They do, from time to time, receive help from other Marvel creations, such as Spider Man or the Fantastic Four, but they are not members of the Avengers.

Yesss!!! I think of it kinda like that, too, nddlj. And yeahh, churchill51, I agree with you, too. I liked TIH better, but Iron Man was really, really awesome. I'm definitely buying them when they come out. Oh, and nddlj? You don't sound like a nerd anymore than I do! I'm the same way. I knew about them, but I'd never seen 'em. Now I'm like, obsessed. :]

Iron was equally entertaining. Though I'm a die hard Hulk fan, so I favoured TIH over Iron man, but both great movies that I will be buying when they come out.

Yep, Avengers scheduled to come out 2011. With Thor and Captain America movies preceding it.

Yeah, true! But this is how I think of it...Iron Man is sort of "the army" with all his gadgets and guns, and the Hulk is always kicking the army's ass everytime they attack him. The Hulk can withstand bullets and bombs and he can also tear a car into two(from the movie hehe)-he could probably rip open Iron Man's suit. --I'm fully aware I sound like a comic book geek, but actually I've never heard of the Hulk until watching the 2003 "Hulk" ...and Iron Man I JUST heard of this year ;P

Shahhhhh he'd win. He's a beast! But then again, Iron Man is a beast too. I think it'd be a fair fight. Always assuming that Iron Man wouldn't whip out some new form of technology and blow The Hulk into little tiny pieces. That wouldn't be fair.

Is Avengers the WHOLE Marvel comic characters or something...or only the really interesting ones? or neither :D If it's a superhero movie- I'd soooooooooo go see it! I ADORE superhero movies.
