Buy "Neoclassical Rock Guitar" then. Loads of melodically work as well as insane chops. This aint just shredding btw. It doesn't need to be slow to be emotional. I've got T-Mac & Yngwie's back catalogue & Mills is up there with them & i think will be better.

Emmm, well Yngwie revolutionised the way of bringin full classical repetoire into metal but he has been passed aot of times- Impellitteri, Stump, Bellas, Mills have advanced it since. I'm a big Yngwie fan but he isn't the greatest technically or musically. Half the stuff he plays he can't repeat which shows his solos are flukes alot of the time.

truly I have not listened to any of his albums so I cant realy tell wether Yngwie is a better composer than Matthew. I've never seen anyone that can play as swiftly as Matthew.

Mills is possibly the greatest guitarist (skillwise) ever to have lived. Yes Yngwie has achieved more success ad has written great songs, but Matthew Mills can play nearly anything there is to be played. This was all improvinizational and he made an effort to slow down his playing during this video.

No man, Matthew Mills can play better than Yngwie, no doubt, I dot know about composing but yeah Mathew can own Yngwie at playing. His hands look like they're melting, what a bad ass.
