Yeah, I don't really consider Casting Crowns Christian rock either...probably just contemporary Christian. But Skillet definitely is in my opinion, like you said.

I totally agree with your definition. Basically, I just feel that a band such as Skillet would be in a different Christian music genre then say Casting Crowns as a result of their "heavier" kind of music. Both Christian bands for certain, but I think Skillet would be considered more of a Christian Rock band in this example.

Surrenderforever, we are animals. Do you consider us better then every other organism on this earth? If you do, then think of this. You are to believe yourself no better than others, and no better then other living things. To say that humans were chosen, and that we are above animals goes against what the bible teaches us. I am not a Christian, and i've only been to church a few times; just started going. But I know enough that we are not chosen above any other living thing.
