There are plenty of "fast" guitarists these days. Just look around you tube. Holdsworth has a uniquely original style . No one sounds like him. You can spot him in a second. I think he's best of the lot. Playing with more class and taste than any mere "shredder". And painfully humble as well. An ultimate musician in my opinion.
