Considering the view ANYONE gets is only as good as the MEDIA they are currently VIEWING...ie Youtube, this presentation of this type of offering displayed, is quite fine and truly does portray a solid cinematic look. Well done condidering the truly minimal cost to pull the tech wool over ones decerning eye. Bravo.
I wish these creators would offer the shot info. I know that's asking too much. But, lighting, distance, lense, apiture, sound, idea that created the inspiration

I agree, at the moment unless you have a lot of money laying around, HD on good camcorders like the xha1 is just to much, and half the time video wont even be displayed in true HD. I would stick with DV and wait a few years for HD to become more accessible

24p is the frame rate for the XL2

Unless you really need the HD, I would get the SD although the HD video is utterly amazing, the SD video, like he has here is awesome! I use the Canon XL-2 at my church, (we have a couple thousand attenders) and the kind of shots they produce are perfect! Myself, I think that SD is a better buy, but it's up to you...

What do you think of the HD cams out there like the canon hv20 and xha1? I need 2 cams with 2 35mm adapters, so probably that would be something like a hv20 but again, the prices of SD cams are falling like rose petals and this video you have here is just amazing.
