Im with you there Dir En Grey is not emo they just have deep lyrics that get to you! I absolutly love this band next to Ayabie

Dude there are bands that just belong to the emo genre but i'm fuckin sure that Dir En Grey doesn't. Singing about the abortion doesn't mean they are emo, who said that emo bands can pick a word and make it emo?? It's like saying that Korn is emo because one of their songs contains the word 'suicide' Dude i'm fucking bored seeing how the humanity needs to classify things Fuck all Youtube -.-'

I guess I'd better go tell chris barnes that his career isn't played out then. if we're going entirely on semantics and fact here, (real) emo bands dealt with topics like this long before the folks in dir en grey made it to high school. oh wow, dark social commentary on the bleak nature of human morality and value. spooky.

I just reread my comment, and yeah, I suppose it does seem like that. so allow me to rephrase that, this music is extremely different in comparison to the genre of "emo" music. Also, I'm pointing out that many people seem to massly categorize anything dark as "emo", which is ridiculous.
