I've been looking out to get a sugar glider, and now that I'm obsessed with them, every sad story that I've watched or read has made me cry! I saw this episode, and when I did, it didn't make me cry, because I wasn't so hooked on the little guys... But this is just depressing...

This made me cry. I don't know what I would do if my glider got sick. :(

More needs to be learned in glider veterinary science. They're becoming a more popular pet in the states, and there's going to be a lot more sick gliders like this. Losing a glider is a heartbreaking experience. They may be small, but they are highly intelligent, and form immensely strong bonds with their owners.
It's very worrying to have a pet like this, and know there's very little a local vet could do to save them, in the event of sickness.
