is kaoss pad3 have different type of operating system? because on my kaoss i can't control volume of sample banks at the same time, i mean when i activate one bank with shift i can control only volume of this one, i can't activate them together to control them like u do one beginning of your video, do u know why?

Is there a key combo to check what software ver i have in my kp3?

as i see some confusion about "how long sample time" in this post:
the kaospad doesnt sample by time it samples by "beats" you can have 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 "beats" (4 = one bar, 8 = 2 bars, 16 = 4 bars). then you can adjust the beat tempo "BPM". 60 bpm = 1 second so 16 beats at 60 bpm = 16 seconds of sampling time... but such long samples will take quite some time to load. hope this explains the concept : ) its an awesome machine by the way !

I've seen enough - I'm getting one!
I have some questions, perhaps you'd do me the honour:
Roughly how many sets of 4 tracks of sampled loops does the maximum size of memory card store and is it quick/easy to load them mid-song? Is there a maximum sample length? (80bpm/64bars?)
Would it be plausible to synchronise the clock to a live drummer who changes tempo a lot (beat detection/tap tempo?) then allow the clock to sync with another external device?
THANKS!
