I had one on my 75 Camaro, and had no problem.
I special ordered it. However, I had nightmares with one on my 71 Dodge Coronet, and had to have the top on my 90 Cougar dyed.
They look good when new, but can be a bear to maintain. Just depends! Thanks for the comment, Kevin! :) Jack

Yeah, Wendy..this was pretty much a GM exclusive, I believe. You certainly can't say you can't get a grip on the shifter! LOL!
Maybe AMC had a Javelin with it, I don't remember. This is in the best shape I've seen for a vintage Camaro. Thanks for the comment, Wendy! :) Jack

Thank you, Pete! I have to agree with you..the
first generation Camaro was like the first generation Mustang..small, lithe, powerful, ready to go. The second generation got bigger,
for that seems to be the American penchant, &
not necessarily better. Camaro could never downsize again..Ford attempted with limited success with the Mustang II & with better success with the Fox body cars, & with the ultimate success of the new 'Stang. Thanks for the comment, Pete- I dub you my royal knight!:)Jack

Ja, it was a world famous car. And very nice, also the color here. But for me is the star :
The Camaro of the 60s. It was soooo beautiful that I compare them all the time and then this 70s modells loose the competition..... We are caught in our memories and thoughts.....ha ha, all the best, your royal highness. Pete

Those of us who have had experience with what might be lurking under vinyl are hardened to the experience! We shall never see a car in the conventional way...it's always a "rust hunt"! Thanks for the comment, Daryl! :) Jack
