This song reminds me of this one girl who I've had a crush on back in high school and I've had hopes that me and her would be close friends cause I thought she was a really nice girl and alot of fun to be around, unfortunately our friendship never did take off after high school.

I hate that the music industry would rather have looks than talent, they look for mediocre beautiful people and teach them to make music instead of looking for people who are very talented but couldn't make it because they don't look good in videos. Video killed the radio star!

used to have this on a 45 when it came out! ;) i remember the line 'and when the night it gets so cold, when i can't sleep'. can remember many nights like that in Winter of '83.
