This is one of the few musical albums that actually has the power to make me cry. And more importantly, it can make me cry every single time. I've always had a soft spot for guitar work this soulful.

Friend of mine was in a chip shop in Cambridge, when a group of people recognised one Syd Barrett. One of them said "Look Syd Barrett". Apparently Syd got quite freaked out by this and started saying "Get these people away from me." before he was led to sanctuary by friends. RIP Syd.
