My friend's grandparents told me that during world war 2. Their neighbors husband was arrested and accused of being a filipino guerrilla fighter. One day she went to the prison where her husband was detained to see him and bring him lunch. The Japanese soldiers stopped her and took her to the mountains and raped her. Her husband was convicted and executed. In her suicide note the woman said that she could not accept what has happened to her and killed herself.

Filipino men had to hide their women in the mountains because Japanese soldiers would rape them. Their neighbors 14 year old daughter was gang raped by Japanese soldiers and got pregnant. The girl hated the Japanese so much that she killed her new born baby and then killed herself.
