this song is kinda like me,cuz my dad did leave because my mom and him where fighting. But 3 or 4 days later he came back. my parnts are still toghter now but who knows for how long. they have been toghter for about 13 years so.

wow emily our lives sound strangely similar 2. but instead of the army it was the air force and my dad left when i was 5 and i live with my mom. but besides that ya they sound a lot alike!

mi dad was in the navy and I was like 2 when he went to desert storm... but i remeber when he had to leave for 6 monhs out of every year.. mi parents are still toegther ater like almost 18 years this november 2nd

ive been talking to my dad, and i sent him this and he said, I love you Emily. I always will. You are my daughter and I miss you. You will always be my little girl. my parents are devorced, now cuz of army, and they fight, i love them both, but i wish they were still together. i never got to be around him enough to appreciate him, and now he lives too far, he was gone during 3/4ths of my life, i am just turnin 15, he left when i was 12, i cant even live with my mom now cuz of her boyfriend

everytime i hear this song i ALWAYS cry.... i always cry at the end wen her dad is goin 2 war cuz my dad was in the marines and he almost died but im glad i hav him 2day and my dad is the best and i am daddys little girl and wen he goes im gona cry so much i love him a lot and i dont want him 2 leave but he told me he will always be in my heart and i no hes telin the truth cuz i feel it
