justin does use a pick. almost exclusively. he just doesnt use a pick for most of this song, and part 1 i think. those are the only instances when he doesnt

your fingering seems inconsistent...mellow out a lil and focus. you can hear the uneven pressure you apply to the strings, work with it more.

yeah I started bass from watch youtube cover videos, yeah It's real fun takes a while to get into it but once you do, you can't let go of your bass.
