Hey you guys should check out the F-5S from the RSAF(Singapore). The most advanced variant of the F-5 in the world to date.

What is the build-to-crash ratio for the other planes you compare it to? What sort of enviroment and types of missions are the F-16 used for? What type of maintaince and upgrades have all the users of the F-16 done? What have the service-life on the F-16 been compared the others?
Well, take a look at these statistics, and you will see that the numbers for the F-16 ain't bad at all.
Havn't checked, but estimate thare are more F-16's built than F15, F14 and F18 combined....

In truth, there are some countries that still use the old (but effective) F-5, including Brazil (what is said to have the greatest knowledge in it`s manutention except for the US).
In Red Flag 2008, Brazilian Tigers Scored around 60% wins against F-16 agressors when supported by Awacs aircraft. I read that it`s data-link and final software isn`t full operational, so we can conclude that this percentage could be higher.

What?
I didn't really understand that.
