DPreview says that the E520 makes the images softer(same in RAW). E510 doesn't have that. E520 has autofocus in live-fiew, E510 doesn't have this. There isn't much difference between these 2, so if you can buy the E510 for €100,- less, it's not realy bad to buy that one instead of the E520 (I think).

i was wondering why you bought this model instead of the newer e520? i am considering the e510 but your input will help
