Has anyone ever noticed the blatant similarity of Star Wars and the 1968 movie 2001: A Space Odyssey..??? ..or is it just me? That's 9 years before Star Wars... I LOVE Star Wars, always have always will.. but after seeing 2001:ASO, makes me think George wasn't so original.

Phantom menace is cool, Darth Maul is the best, I like the prequels better than old ones cause well, its better in my opinion.

Um. No. He didn't. He allowed designs for it, and watched over it, all while rewriting the script over and over, trying to get it right, trying to connect all the dots and fill in all the gaps. Lucas gave us the story we wanted. Anyone who says different is a critic. Hell. You think Phantom Menace was bad? Watch the Star Wars Holiday Special. THAT'S bad.

Oh yeah...Because Anakin crying and Padme crying don't have aaaany emotion. The final battle with Obi-Wan and Anakin. No emotion. Qui-Gon's funeral. No emotion. Padme's death. Shmi Skywalker's death. Yeah. All those touching scenes have no emotion...Psh. All 6 fgilms have emotion. They are connected, it's what makes it emotional. One, big, film.

wow this said epic!!! which back then i dont think it would have been that epic because it was so low budget but now if anyone says "Ive got a bad feeling about this" i think of Star Wars so obviously George Lucas did something right with these films!
