Acctuly the newer engines like thoes installed on the new Airbus A380 could sustain 7 bird strikes before something like this happend. We defeat the bird...

Concorde is at manchester airport viewing gallery, and you can go inside it to have alook around. Its pretty cool!

Well the pilots are instructed to shut down the engine in case of malfunction, so i would say yes. Running a damaged engine aint very smart. ;) |
