what a bunch of lies, EU exists since 1992 (against the wishes of the voters, that's why Europeans don't get to vote, and when they do vote in a referendum, they vote no, and then are ignored)

EU is a nasty contraption invented by US to hold the european countries together. It's a low-security prison in which Germany is the inmate leader. Such a project was previewed by W. Wilson and his doctrine in 1919 and started with the Marshall Plans in '47; for 40 years the West Europe was fed with the american dirty money and East suffered under communism. Now the East was integrated into EU as colony-states, they are to be depopulated and demolished brick by brick.

its up to national governments if they wish to hold referendums on something not the European Union. The EU is a good thing as you said urself u wernt against a united Europe.
The lisbon treaty isnt as bad as the no camp claimed, there are some very good things in it. especially the change to EU rotational presidence. This situation in Gerogia has shown we cant keep the current system, if Britain held the presidency then we wouldnt of gone to Russia and got a ceasefire to stop the conflict

"the europe of the 21st century will continue to tackle the concerns of its citizens" pull the other one, they couldnt care less bout the concerns of its citizens else we would all have had a referendum on lisbon. im not against an united europe, but im certainly against this totalitarian vision that messrs barroso and co. have in mind LONG LIVE EUROPE BUT FUCK THE EU

I like the EU in its present form, as a sort of international community. It encourages peace and prosperity. But creating a 'United States of Europe' is a pointless step too far.
