Help!!! I don't have any experience scratching. I'd like to get into it. I'm not a vinyl turntablist. I use cd turntables that have vinyl emulation or what is known as scratch mode. Can anyone post a video tutorial using cd turntables and where can i buy scratch sample cd's? I'm using a pair of american audio cdi 500 mp3 turntables. Help!!!

2 quick comments:
use the x-fader (on switch mode) rather than the level (volume) fader. this will make your cuts (scratches) smoother, more accurate and quicker (plus this is actually how to do a basic scratch...)
second, use a record with a bpm around 100. not 130 as in this video. hip-hop is the natural starting place to learn to scratch and is much easier coz of the slower tempo.
practise cutting and then transforming. once you have mastered these 2 everything becomes a lot easier.
