I ran Crysis with everything at HIGH,and 8x Anti-Aliasing,full anisotropic x16 on the card,Sapphire Ati Radeon HD 3850 1GB GDDR3 and with 3 gb DDR2 System Ram on a 1024x768 rez and everything ran with over 30 to 40 FPS! oh yeah i alsou run Rainbow Six Vegas 2 with everything maxed..same rez..its enough for me....SO ...ATI ROCKS! ...Can't wait to get me the 4870X2 though :-?!

Normally the Graphic card doesnt get damaged if you have a to weak PSU. The pc would just shut down itself, or would underclock everything to meet the PSU.
I guess the card was damaged already. Newest drivers installed? That could help too.
And btw, your Processor is also not the best one :/

It's not a free roam game. You cant go back to levels where you've already completed your missions. While the areas you visit are open, you go from one area to another in a linear way.

It is possible it has already been damaged. You should be able to return it. Check the store you bought it from. |
