what amazes me is the length of breath he takes. Some seem really long so I guess it takes time and much practice to play those longer pieces of music then take a breath.. wonderfull music though..

Excellent 'Raga' control. Bhandarkar has every bit of talent to be Hari Prasad Charasia of tomorrow.
I would like to hear how he does in Raga Pahari. There are very few clips of Bhandarkar on you tube. Excellent!

AACM or the Ali Akbar College of Music site sells bansuri on their site as well as many other classical North Indian Instruments.

The 'key center' is approximately an E natural. I assume that the bansuri is tuned to that key, but I could be wrong; I have no knowledge of bansuris. All I can say is that the drone note is E.
