this was a special concert by bernstein in berlin to celebrate east germany's upcoming freedom, therefore "freedom" took place "joy's" place for once

BTW I thought it was the "Ode and die freude" or "Ode to joy" Not "Ode and die Freiheit" or "Ode to freedom"

In the movie Clockwork Orange, Alex, has this affection for listening to Ludwig Van Beethoven and playing with his pet boa constrictor after a night of the old Ultra-Violence. There's classical music played on electric keyboards and just crazy stuff going on the whole movie. Check it out! They should have it somewhere on Youtube.
