Cloverfield00, My uncle used to dance on the show tennage frolic also. His name was Gordon jenkins but now we call him Steve. Your mom may know him depending on when she was on there cause he said he was on there like every week. i wish I could find footage of that show cause, he always used to talk about how he danced. But now he's been in and out of the hospital so his dancing days are over.

FreeGlobalEnergy..... I came of age in the 70's and 80's and I never experienced any of the stuff you mentioned. I grew up in Southern California. There will NEVER be anything like that period AGAIN ever. The music was fantastic, the people were cool and I am very grateful to have grown up then. It was magical. Yeah there were idiots out there, but it was RARE to experience them. I never had. AND certainly nothing like there is now. I would rather have a knife pulled on me than a gun. DIG?

There was a lot of good music back then as there is today. styles do cycle. just watch, I think at some stage the hippie hair styles will come back in full swing. I don't know when but it is all about the younger generation not wanting to be like the older generations. |
