In the UK our packets of sparklers always say "Hold the handle in a gloved hand at arm's length". It's a preferable idea because the sparks are rather hot, even though the sparks emitted are not hot enough to burn your skin.

I heard you cannot hold more than sparklers,they can be hot unless if they touch the ground,i heard you cannot step on the hot things
