i've wanted to buy this camera for months.
i'm having some trouble saving up for it, seeing how i'm only 14.
it seems like it has great picture quality.
i'm really into photography.
any suggestions where i can get one semi-cheap?

i got it 4 days ago, so far I have taken 700 pics and haven't recharged the battery, kick ass!!, however if anyone can help change the aperture setting while in manual i'd appreciate it, do not hesitate to get the D40, you won't regret it.

it is a good camera. carolinacoca you need to see how fast the subject is moving. there is a sensor that pics the subject and adjusts to the speed.
