it's danny richmond, max didn't play on mingus's bands, they played together in charlie parker's band and on "money jungle", the duke ellington album. otherwise it's always danny rochmond on mingus's records. hope it helps, peace

Charles Mingus is my favorite Jazz composer. Has anyone listened to Black Saint and the Sinner Lady album? The best Jazz album ever in my opinion.

It's amazing, not many people have a large range of interests. Personally, I like jazz, but I also like Prog Metal.
