that's really sad! poor doggy! i wish there was something somebody could do to safe it. but if you turn the sound really loud around 3:30 and 3:40, you can hear the narrator eating something.

As stated elsewhere, people going out to try to get the dog couldn't because he was too scared to leave and bit them. Don't judge people harshly in a crisis like this. You don't know what it's like. And frankly, yes, it's just a dog, compared to the human saving himself. If he tried, or even died trying, good for him, but his life probably had much more meaning to many more people than the dog did - what of them left behind for a dog?

You should have seen footage of the guy from the car. He tried to save his dog, but the bridge was going up 28 something feet with the wind, slamming back down almost instantly. We would all love to have tried to save the dog, but seeing that bridge isn't the same as being on it. One would have felt the same way as him if you were on the bridge. It's not like he didn't give a damn about the dog, because he did, it's that he couldn't get to him.

I think there was no chance for him to drive away the car. If he could, he will probably do that. He should have carry his dog along while he ran for his life. This kind of ppl does not deserve to have a dog. My lecturer said it like it's lucky that only a dog died in this disaster...so cruel!
