i was being sarcastic...if my company goes broke its my fault and nobody elses...

You won't get a bail out, your company is probably not big enough or you didn't contribute enough to Bushes Campaign. Glad to see you blame bush too, and rightfully so.
The only other way for your company to get a bail out and you jump with a golden parachute is if you lost billions of your investors money and destroyed your employees retirement plan. Then maybe bush will help buy out the mess. Other than that, you'll end up like Lehman brothers

yea its always bushs fault...i have a company and if my company goes under ill just blame on bush and hope the government will bail me out...what a fucking joke.

P.S. I love how "this is no one's fault except for CEO Dick Fuld".
Yet Obama, who has nothing to do with this or Lehman brothers name is brought up and Clinton's name.
Yeah we don't see through the attempt to deflect and defend. No, not transparent at all.

This dick fuld sounds like a terrible human being. I think someone shouldn't have been drunk and asleep at the wheel. It's times like these when we need trusted strong leaders to watch over such greedy and corrupt individuals and corporations. I wonder who was in charge when all this went down. Because like you said this was not an overnight thing. I mean 8 years is a short time in the big scheme of things but still.
Instead of watching, they were probably dancing with these people. Good job.

Facing Chapter 11 and finally filing for it is the key here. If this Ponzi scheme was so bad and like human nature if everyone is so damn greedy and selfish. Don't you think someone should've been at the wheel wide awake to make sure there's no crash or accident. I like it how you bring up Clinton's name too, even though he's been long gone and out of office. I knew the hint of this being his fault would come up eventually.
I blame the one that was the driver at the time of this accident.

Blaming/ crediting either party is a gross misunderstanding of history relatively to this issue. Lehman was a ponzi scheme, I am glad that finally they were NOT bailed out by taxpayers, the financial markets will be a healthier place without them. I feel terrible for those individuals who got caught in it and had their fortunes erased by the enormous ego of 1 man, Dick Fuld.

This is no one's fault except for CEO Dick Fuld and the people who wouldn't stand up to him. Most of whom are well known supporters of the Obama campaign. Although admittedly political affiliation has little to do with the greed and arrogance displayed by Lehman's executives at the expense of their 10,000 employees. This is the 4th time in 28 Years Lehman has faced Chapter 11, twice during the Clinton Administration. |
