Yeah, cool but i calculated that my camera (Sony HandyCam DCR-DVD109) is cheaper than my video editing programs (Vision Lab Studio, EffectsLab, Sony Vegas Pro 8, Adobe After Effects 7.0 PRO and Adobe Premiere 2.0 Pro) so.......i should of bought expensive camera .... but i bought expensive programs :D

get the Flip Mino. i personally own it as well as the Canon HV20. the Mino is great. look it up. it's about $150-$170 and its got great video quality.

okay here it goes:
im a teen looking for a decent camcorder to record movies for fun. it needs to be easy to use edit and put on to my computer and im no pro so nothing too fancy and confusing hopefully its in the 150-250 price range..im thinking of the one he said for 12 year olds buts if anyone has anyother ideas tell me thanks

I'd say the best one out of them by far(excluding the Panasonic DVX100B) is the Canon HV20.
However, if using firewire, you can only use your footage as 1440x1080, whereas if you use a HDMI card like Blackmagic you can have 1920x1080!

I would reccommend the GL2 only because for the price of the 100B you can get the HD version of the GL2. |
