If you guys can't have a civilized conversation about Sweeney Todd, don't comment on this video. I thought I'd upload the opening sequence of the play for all you sweeney fans. This is the 1982 Production of Sweeney Todd staring George Hearn and Angela Lansbury(NOTE: Angela Lansbury is not in this scene) I thought the musical lost a lot of it's hillarity in the Burton film, but I guess that was Burton's choice. A dark film shouldn't have too much humor in it, but it's good for stage productions because I think it keeps your audience entertained. XD

great!! but i thought tht it would have sounded creepier if they did more stacatto on the last notes of lines instead of holding them out but around the 2:50's tht was freakin scary!!!!!!!!

so so SO BUMMED that they cut this song out of the movie. ESPECIALLY the finale version. :(
