Were you asking for a song from a record release? If so, Moby probably doesn't own the release rights for that. And if that was the case, he couldn't grant you those rights even if he wanted to. I am sure that the Mobygratis tunes aren't released under a non-independent publisher. You'd get a lot better answers I'm sure if you would be more specific about how and what he didn't let you use. Not flaming you, just saying...
