This fine Bobbie Gentry song has been covered by several jazz artists.

it doesn't matter what her name is. Her name could be Pete, but she has one hell of a voice!

haha, I can see why a man would want that. This is beautiful, and sexy!

what beautiful music. I thought I hated most country, but so far every song of hers is completely beautiful. It is not like today's country, it has so much soul and passioh. I wish all music had this same soul put into it. Her voice can make anything sound completely beautiful. Such a dreamy song! <333

me too, it's perfect as a duet, and my favorite song on the record... Bing, on the other hand, is burning in eternity right now for being an incomparable asshole.

One of her finest compositions and recordings without a doubt. A true Musician.

Ethereal, spiritual, sexy, dreamy, all of these supperlatives can be attached to this piece of musical nirvana. Every time I hear it I settle into a dreamland of my own, where there is only me and Bobbie. She was a gem. How I wish she would sing again, or some current artist would do a cover album of these classics. This music needs to be rediscovered, now.

Dreamy perfection! Check out the album this song came from- "The Delta Sweete", which could rightfully be called Bobbie's own "Pet Sounds".

What man wouldn't like to wake up to Bobbie Gentry whispering this sensual & evocative song in his ear...

Well, Bing isn't alive anymore, so what do you thik? Bobby was an icon for this generation. I use to sing this to my baby daughter, she still is my morning glory!
