Yes it is, a paypal is a scammers paradise. You sell someone something, they do a charge back, as usual paypal rules in the scammers favor, and your now out of the money and your item.

Oh well,It appears that rather than everyone joining together and leaving ebay and paypal within a sudden time frame,most cling onto ebay and paypal because they are afraid to leave.Which is why ebay and paypal have the power they have.FEAR !! Which is exactly what they both basically dependent on to survive.We must ban together to support another auction site & online payment service.Most will never leave ebay and stop accepting paypal until they get totally burnt too.

The problem is anytime another auction payment site comes around, EBay buys it with all its money so it can't compete with PAYPal. The funny thing is EBay took 48 hours to stop the person who used a stolen paypal account to pay while he continued to scam others. When I wrote a message board post about it, it took them 5 minutes to remove it because EBay 'does not allow you to share personal experiences of fraud on its message boards'. That way others wont be aware and EBay will get their fees.

PAYPal holds a virtual monopoly on the online payment industry. And they will always find a way to screw you. I've had 3 instances where people paid using stolen credit cards, said items did not come, etc. And each time PAYPal ruled against me who has 1200 feedbacks in favor of a scammer who had 1 or 2 feedbacks. Each time I had stacks of evidence of shipping, etc. and PAYPal used some insane loophole rule to make me responsible. I have cut my PAYPal usage and plan to discontinue use of EBay.

this happen to me and try to correct it ,forget it i just simply stopped using it and any site that uses it i think the mob would be better at lest you know you will get the money and no bad checks !! HA HA

they did me the same way took my money and locked up my paypal took 7000 and it took me months to get it back it was so stressfull I hate paypal and ebay both. never again.
