Wow, that reminds me of MANY of the depositions I have sat through. I'm a court reporter and I can honestly say I've had to stop people MANY times and say I simply couldn't understand the witness, just like the male reporter in this video. Candid Camera? Heck, this is a day in the life of a court reporter!

That's hilarious! I was a reporter years back (still licensed but have moved to another profession since). I once had a witness who had a very bad stuttering problem. So yeah, I can relate for sure!

Haha. I too am a court reporter and I can relate big time. Unlike this guy, the mumblers always seem to speak in close to a whisper. I love how the male reporter handled it. He was 100% correct in what he did.

Wow, all those mumbling witnesses I dealt with over the years, why didn't I think of disqualifying myself! Great idea! Loved it!
