What a classic. Disney mastered giving deep human feelings to animals a long time ago. The music is amazing too - it makes you smile, laugh, cry. So beautiful!

A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand

This cartoon really doesn't promote adoption, huh? The swan mother is supposed to look so kind and gentle, but she takes him in because he's her own kind, not because she's generous. An interesting modern remake might show the signet being accepted into the duck family in spite of his differences. Sign of the time it was created, I suppose. /random thought That said, I still come to this video when I need a good cleansing cry. :)

God...I remember as a kid, trying so hard to hold in the tears while watching him go through all that crap (especially when he was trying to get love from an inanimate object, of all things)...but when I saw the part at 6:46-7:08, I friggin' lost it... Why the hell did I look this cartoon up...just depressed myself
