professionalists use 1st finger. Look at Paul Gilbert tapping lesson. He is using 1st figer (as I sad it's the strongest) and hiding pick in 2nd finger.

Dude it's bullshit. You have to use 1st finger, not middle. And you pull off string up /\. 1st finger is the strongest and you use it for tapping. If you are so weak so you can do anything with a pick, go learn first, then put vids on YT.
